In 1931 grandfather Antonio made his first copper pan; Ruffoni Company was born in 1962 of the love towards copper of its founder Fremide (Antonio’s son). Located in Omegna, the ancient town of Vaemenia, at the foot of the alps, Omegna, on the shore of the quiet Orta lake, has been for ages the land of the coppersmiths.

The manufacture of copper is a real passion for Ruffoni Company. Its primary aim is the achievement of very high quality standards. It is its duty to comply with all the world’s FDA lead and cadmium regulations, and they have always strictly done so. The high regard that each member of the Ruffoni team holds for his job calls for meticulousness, skill, and the use of recyclable materials for the products and for packaging. To this aim, whenever possible we opt to employ exacting manual techniques preferable to more inexpensive chemical and mechanical manufacturing procedures.  

 


Stockpot
2 handled vessel roughly same diameter as height. Used for: Boiling, Simmering, Blanching, Bain-marie, Steaming. Perfect for preparing soups and broths it also allows excellent temperature control (95-100°C), retaining aromas and flavours.

BROIL
To cook the food by placing it, for a short while, a measured distance below the broiler. Most ovens have a broiler section that is used to cook meats, fish and poultry or melt or brown foods such as sprinkled bread crumbs or grated cheese toppings.
